What Rockstar announced
Rockstar said preorders would begin June 25 at midnight local time, with a November 19, 2026 launch planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its U.S. announcement listed the standard game at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99.
The release also said digital preloading would begin November 12 and described the physical version as a box containing a download code. That distinction matters to buyers expecting a playable disc or a conventional second-hand purchase.
Before paying
Confirm the platform, region, edition contents and local price at the official store. Read cancellation and refund terms before redeeming or downloading anything. The announcement’s release date is a publisher commitment, not evidence that the game has already shipped.
The launch notice did not announce a PC edition. Avoid treating an unofficial PC preorder listing as confirmation. Bonus items and subscription trials should be assessed separately from the game’s price, including whether a trial renews. This guide reports announced terms; it is not a review of the finished game.
